Janis left this world on December 8, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Lula Redmon Moss; her former husband Robert Moorehead; and her siblings, Jane Cantrell and Ralph Moss.
She is survived by: her daughter RoAnn Romines (Jay); her brother-in-law Jerry Lee Cantrell; her nephews, Shannon Cantrell and Scott Cantrell; and her niece Stacey Cantrell.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Catholic Charites Diocese of Nashville, or Friends of the National World War II Memorial, or the Methodist Church Capitol Fund in memory of Ms. Janis.
