He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Lee Estes and Dixie Cleo Stanley Sweeten; his wife Tammye Estes; his son Jerry Lee Estes; and his siblings, Lisa DeVault (Gina Roller) and Ricky "Bell" Estes.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Austin Estes of Liberty, Destiny of Smithville, Monie Murphy of Smithville and Allie Estes of Smithville; his great grandchildren, Adessa Cantrell and Kingston Zaderiko; his siblings, Kathy Chapman (Bruce) of Liberty, Doreen Pedigo of Liberty, Patsy McCoy of Smithville and Jimmy Estes of Liberty; and his close friends, Will and Bethany Rackley. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew, and friends.
The family ask in lieu of flowers donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
