It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry McCormick of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McCormick and Faye Brown McCormick; and his brother Ricky McCormick. He is survived by: his wife Libby McCormick of Smithville; his daughters, Adrienne McCormick of Smithville, Ashley McCormick of Smithville, Christina Brown and Teri Keith of Bristol; his grandsons, Sebastian McCormick, Dalton Keith and Dylan Keith; his siblings, Bobby McCormick of Lawrenceburg and Brenda McCormick of Westmoreland; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Mathis (Van) of Liberty and Jeff Parsley (Michelle) of Nashville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses, in memory of Jerry.
