It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Edwin Stringer of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter and Alta Kathleen McCaleb Stringer; his former wife Sue Stringer; and his siblings, Billy Stringer (Opal), Lillard Stringer (Margie) and Janice Maddux.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Stringer of Smithville; his daughter Jenean Lawson (Buck) of Smithville; his grandchildren, Amanda Randolph (Luke), Alan Stringer (Lisa), Kristin Jacobi (Ryan), Benjamin Stringer (Kara), Hannah Stringer, Elicia Puckett (Johnathon), Andrea Puckett (Jacob), Nathan Stringer (Jasmine), Lindsey Bell (Chris), Amanda Herrin (Mitch), Josh Lawson (Ashley) and Dakota Hale; and his brother-in-law Earl Maddux. He is also survived by 35 Great-grandchildren.
