He was predeceased by: his parents, Selmer Osment and Hassie Mai Osment; his wife Linda Sue Merriman Osment; and his siblings, Shelah Bratten Osment and Macon Wade.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gidget Malone (Mark) and Ginda Kilgore (John); his grandchildren, Zach Malone (Kat) of Dowellton, Kolter Kilgore of Smithville and Kora Kilgore of Smithville; and his siblings, Ernest Osment, Roy Osment (Lela) and Patsy McBride (Peanut). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
