She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Dunn and Ruth Moss Dunn; and her son Darrel Ashford. She is survived by: her husband Wade Ashford of Liberty; her children, Vallarie Womack (Steve) of Woodbury, Dewayne Ashford (Karlee) of Liberty and Cory Ashford (Stephanie) of Liberty; her grandchildren, Faith, Levi Womack, Shianne, Colby, Sierra, Madison and Baylee "Grace" Ashford; her sisters, Vicky Sandlin (Nelson) of Liberty and Carol Prater of Woodbury; and her aunts, Juanita Carrick and Margaret Jackson.
In addition to flowers, the family ask that donations to be made to either the Gassaway Firehall, Sycamore Cemetery or Upper Helton Baptist Church, in memory of Karen.
