He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Lee and Pearl Blankenship Wright; his nephews, Anthony Wright and Kenny Robinson; and his brother-in-law Kent Robinson.

He is survived by: his wife Donna G. Wright; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Nicole Wright; his daughter Kimberly Griffin of Smithville; his grandchildren, Stephanee Wright of Smithville, Ashleigh Snow of Smithville, Glenna Grote, Jenna Wright of Smithville and Lydia Wright of Smithville; his siblings, Eugene Wright (Darlene) of Hendersonville, Elsie Jacobs (Mitch) of Murfreesboro, Ann Mullins (Thurman) of Lebanon and Cathy Welsh (Jim) of Mt. Juliet; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Robinson of Smithville, Dora Ann Arnold of Lebanon and Nancy Jones (Steve) of Lebanon. He is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren.
