With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Stanley of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 55. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melissa Stanley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Stanley and Ruth Ervin Stanley; and her brothers, Ronald, Rickey and Randall Stanley.

She is survived by: her son Johnathan Adcock (Jasmine) of Smithville; her grandchildren, Johnathan and Peytin Adcock; her siblings, Eddie Stanley (Louella) of Smithville, Michael Stanley (Mandy) of Smithville and Jennifer McCawley of Smithville; and her sister-in-law Kathy Stanley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
