It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Lorimer Edwards of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Morgan Eaton. He is survived by: his mother Megan Edwards; his wife Penny Edwards of Smithville; his children, Cori Edwards of Smithville, Kayla Cook of Smithville and Maddie Cook of Smithville; his grandchildren, Nevaeh, Charles Derrick and Annalise Dale; his stepfather Lynn Edwards of Murfreesboro; his siblings, Abby Vance (Justin) of Murfreesboro, Rachel Durham (Justun) of Old Hickory and David Edwards (Dani) of Murfreesboro; and his grandmother Betty Edwards of Springfield.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
