It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Jarvis Sr. of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Jarvis and Adeline Waters Jarvis; his daughter Lori Whittington; and his siblings, Marie Bishop, Minnie Bell Jones, Christine Edwards, Darlene Brown, Herchel, Allen and Jimmy Jarvis.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Neal Jarvis; his sons, Bobby Jarvis (Pamella) and Matthew Jarvis; his stepsons, Brad Crook (Miranda) and Chris Crook (Dana); and his sisters, Louise Alderice (Benny), Susie Myers (Auby) and Barbara Jo Dorrington (Frank). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Love-Cantrell Funeral Home (100 E Church St, Smithville, TN 37166). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
