He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelton Hawkins and Clara Mae Hawkins; and his brothers, Freddie Johnson and Kenneth Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hawkins (Clark); his children, Charma Cripps (Phillip) and Chris Hawkins (Breanna); his grandchildren, Clay, Clint and Cora Hawkins; his siblings, Phillip Hawkins (Ann), Don Hawkins (Treba), Queda Ferrell, Brenda Herman (Jack) and Beverly Ferrell (Marshall); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Johnson, Elaine Hawkins and Cathy Clark-Mitchell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and devoted friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to their church – Smithville First Freewill Baptist.
