She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Winton and Walsie Mercer Winton; her husband Leonard Gwyn, Jr.; her sons, Larry Gwyn and Mark Gwyn; and her siblings, Beatrice Webb, Sadie Winton, Ernest Winton of Lular Winton, H. B, Fred Winton, Roberta Ramsey and Clara Mae Wilkerson.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Officer (Steve) of Smithville, TN and James "Mickey" Gwyn (Marion) of Murfreesboro, TN; her grandchildren, LaShaun Davenport (Thad), Tara Gwyn, Tamara Gwyn, Bryan Officer, David Officer and Maritza League; her great grandchildren, Donovan Gwyn and Langston Davenport; her siblings-in-law, Robert Gwynn and Fannie Biles; her daughter-in-law Eva Gwyn; and her close friend Phillip Smith, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
