He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Clark Burton and Matilda Victoria Fitz; the mother of his children Lynn K. Olszewski; his son Thomas W. Burton II; and his siblings, Jimmy, Randy and Judy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Taunya Hammonds (Jim) and Tamara S. Rice (Jim); his siblings, Jerry, Elwood, Kevin, Teddy, Ric, John, Lena, Mary, Linda and Nanci; and his son-in-law Eddie Rice. He is also survived by eight granddaughters, three grandsons, five great granddaughters, five great grandsons.
