In loving memory of Timothy Reed Young of Smithville, Tennessee, who departed this world on April 20, 2024 at the age of 61. Timothy leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Beulah May "Fay" Sandlin Young; and his grandparents, Paul, Ruth Caplinger Sandlin, James Monroe and Edith Evans Young.

He is survived by : his father Thomas Young of Smithville; his wife Karen Young of Smithville; his son Jessie Anderson (Megan) of Gallatin; his grandsons, Dylan Anderson and Lane Anderson; his aunts, Geneva Taylor (Tommy) of Smithville and Peggy Blankenship (Gary) of Cane Creek; and his uncle Grady Young (Linda) of Houston.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the DeKalb Funeral Chapel (863 S Congress Blvd, Smithville, TN 37166). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at the DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the Shriner's or St. Jude Hospitals in memory of Tim.
