We are sad to announce that, on April 30, 2026, at the age of 61, Troy R. Cripps of Smithville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Faye Pack Cripps; his sister Flesha Collins; and his father-in-law Jimmy Goodnight. He is survived by: his father Troy Junior Cripps; his wife Jamie Cripps; his children, Jackson Cripps, Haden Cripps (Braya) and Ellie Cripps; his brother Jason Cripps of Smithville; his mother-in-law Brenda Gardenhire (Jim) of Indiana; his brothers-in-law, Brent Goodnight (Asha) and Greg Goodnight (Kelli) of Indiana; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Collins (Courtney), Morgan Thurmond, Elizabeth Cripps and Dylan Cripps (Lizzy); and his friends, Quinton Johnson, Hank Dawson, Myron Rhody, Linda Fuson and Sammie Maxwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Mt. Moriah The Baptist Church in memory of Troy.
