She was predeceased by: her parents, L. D. Knowles and Gladys Odom Knowles; her parents-in-law, Walter and Emma Burton; and her aunts and uncles, Elene Miller Cripps Hayes, Hoyte Odom, Lewis Knowles, Macon Judkins, Ollie Womack and Dollie Foutch.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Burton of Smithville; her son Brandon Burton (Kelly) of Knoxville; and her grandchildren, Brock and Knox Burton. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Vickie Burton Memorial at Whorton Springs Baptist Church in memory of Ms. Vickie.
