She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Brown and Willie Evelyn Herndon Crips; her husband Brownie Adams; her daughter-in-law Debbie Adams; and her parents-in-law, T. B. and Dorothy Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Adams (Karen) of Smithville, Mike Adams of Cookeville, Vicky Duke (Randall) of Smithville and Veronica Pack (John) of Smithville; her grandchildren, Amanda Goodwin (Scott), Jennifer Adams, Marla Beshearse (Jim), Justin Duke (Felicia), Brooke Hutton (Drew), Megan Carroll (Joseph), Jared Adams (Sydney) and Mykaela Young (Riley); and her great grandchildren, Cooper, Kiptyn Goodwin, Carsyn, Cate Beshearse, Alexis Nicole, Allie Violet, Avery Lynn Carroll, Olive Jude Young, Florence Ruth and Nola Jewell Adams.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the DeKalb Funeral Chapel (863 S Congress Blvd, Smithville, TN 37166). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at the DeKalb Memorial Gardens (2700 McMinnville Hwy, Smithville, TN 37166).
In addition to flowers, the family ask that donations be made to either St. Jude Children's Hospital or DeKalb Animal Coalition.
