Whitefield of Smithville, Tennessee, born in Silver Point, Tennessee, who passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Togo and Gladys Ida James Whitefield; and his siblings, Reba Whitefield, Lucille Whitefield, James Whitefield and Travis Whitefield.
He is survived by: his children, Renae Wollenweber (Ron) of Rock Island, Michael Whitefield (Lori) of Morrison and Chris Whitefield (Ann) of Rock Island. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In memory of Mr. Whitefield , the family has asked that donations be made to The American Cancer Society to further the research of cancer in lieu of flowers.
