He was predeceased by: his father Mack Melton; his brother Michael Melton; and his son Nathan Melton. He is survived by: his wife Beth Melton; his mother JoHelen Hayes; his siblings, Donnie Melton and Diane Lanius (Mike); his stepchildren, Matthew Williams, Michael Williams and Ashley Williams; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by one niece and nephew, one great niece and great nephew, seven grandkids and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Pike Church of Christ (218 Jefferson Pike, La Vergne, TN 37086). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Mapleview Cemetery (411 Maple St, Smyrna, TN 37167).
