With sadness, we share the passing of Dean Paul Hamrick of Smyrna, Tennessee. Dean, born on June 12, 1945, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Paul Hamrick, Jr. and Gayla White Hamrick; and his sister Margaret Hamrick. He is survived by: his wife Edna Hamrick; his daughters, Heather Hamrick McDevitt (Ken) and Suzanne Bryles (Tommy); his grandsons, Joshua McDevitt, Taylor Bryles, Tommy Bryles, Jr. (Sammantha) and Trent Bryles; his great grandchildren, Christian Taylor-Bryles, Londyn Bryles, Korey Bryles and Tommi Samone Bryles; his great great grandchild Christian Taylor-Bryles, Jr.; and his brothers, David Hamrick and Ken Hamrick (Izzy Ragland). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other cherished family members.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (5350 NW Broad St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mapleview Cemetery (411 Maple St, Smyrna, TN 37167). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Roselawn Funeral Home (5350 NW Broad St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129).
