He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Smith; his brothers, Richard Smith (Carolyn) and Ronald Smith (Linda); and his son-in-law Ricky Ledbetter. He is survived by: his children, Kristy Ledbetter, Daniel Jenkins (Amy), Troy Smith and Donnie Smith, Jr. (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Brannon, Jerremy, BreAnna, Amelia, Brody, Meagan and Adam. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
