He is survived by: his sons, Robert "Bob" David Griffy of Murfreesboro, TN and Darin Lester Griffy of Murfreesboro, TN; his brothers, David of Chapel Hill, TN and Harry Griffy of Chapel Hill, TN; his grandchildren, Olivia Thomas, Caleb Griffy, Dustin "Dusty" Morrison and Heather Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Hunter and Hadleigh Thomas.
