We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2023, at the age of 94, Frances Bower of Smyrna, Tennessee passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances Bower to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Mattes and Edna Mattes (Powers); and her siblings, Kenneth Mattes, Phyllis Jean Brickman and Mary Yates.

She is survived by : her husband A. Eugene "Gene" Bower; her daughters, Karen Van Sandt (Denny) of Smyrna and Sandra Bower (Steve Giurlando) of Melrose, Massachusetts; her grandsons, Trevor Van Sandt (Ashley) of Brentwood and Kyle Van Sandt (Stephanie) of Saratoga Springs; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Savannah Van Sandt of Brentwood and Finn Van Sandt of Saratoga Springs. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
