He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Durden, Sr. and Pauline Fowler Durden. He is survived by : his wife Carol; his sister Wanda Grimes (Steve); his nephews, Doug and Daniel Grimes; and his niece Deanna Davis.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Crossville City Cemetery (617 E 1st St, Crossville, TN 38555).
