It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George T. Stephens of Smyrna, Tennessee, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Rains Stephens; his parents, Gene Stephens and Virginia "Jenny" Stephens; his brother David Stephens; and his sister-in-law Sherry Stephens.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rosemary Stephens Cole, Janet Lynn Stephens, Tricia Ann Stephens and Rebecca Leigh Stephens; his granddaughters, Amanda Leigh Stephens Cole, Rachel Elizabeth Cole and Angela May Zimmerman; his great grandchild Heather Edith Zimmerman; and his brother J. Mark Stephens (Peggy).
