He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Marvin "Tom" Dotson and Bobby Jean Harrell Dotson; and his brother Tommy Wayne Dotson. He is survived by: his children, William Dotson (Anneliese Wolf), Brenda Dotson and Dana Dotson; his sisters, Brenda Crawford and Sheila Parsley; and his grandchildren, Brooklyn Dotson, Kena Dotson, Jazlynne Hart, Tegan Hart, Daimon Hardin and Cynthia Hardin.
