James Hargrove Obituary

We announce the death of James Hargrove of Smyrna, Tennessee, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 61. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hargrove and Jo Boyce Hargrove; and his sister Brenda Wray. He is survived by: his daughters, Lindsay Gordon (Brad), Chasity Hawkins (Marshall) and Cayla Jo Williams (Quinn); his grandchildren, Johanna, Tucker, Madison, Seth, Gentrie, Boone, Keaton, James Kalin, Trey, Greyson, Juliana and Remy; his great grandchild Kingston James; his sisters, Donna Gipson (Joe) and Kaye Simpson; and his close friend Beth Uhrine.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodfin Chapel (203 N Lowry St, Smyrna, TN 37167). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
