He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Comer, Sr. and Willie Mae Mahaffey Comer; his son Allen J. Comer; and his girlfriend Frances Hart. He is survived by: his son Kent Comer (Anna); his daughter-in-law Lynn Comer; his sisters, Arlene Minic, Sharon Leyhew, Carolyn Bush (Robert) and Judy Davis; his grandchildren, Kyle Comer and Christy Comer; and his great grandchildren, Reese, Jordyn, Easton and Katelyn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
