It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathie Bond Duke of Smyrna, Tennessee, born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Bond and Rosie Collins Bond; her husband Jimmy A. Duke; and her siblings, Irene Steelman, Lena Parker, Nancy McCune, Frank and Marvin Barrett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathey Sharp (Melvin Mears) of Murfreesboro, Lisa Moody of Murfreesboro, Christie Kelley of Smyrna, Jamie Smith of Shelbyville and Michelle Duke of Antioch; and her brother Thomas Bond (Deborah). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
