With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ken Cobble in Smyrna, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cobble and Dovie Cobble; his siblings, Edith, Beulah, Lilly, Norma Jean, Virginia and Eldon; and his daughter Pamela Jean Barnett.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rose Cobble; his children, Peggy Hasty (Stan) and Kelvin Cobble (Brenda); his son-in-law John Barnett; his grandchildren, Chad Cobble (Aubrey), Chris Barnett (Kelly), Kasey Cobble (Julie), Melanie Ober (Tom), Robert Wilson (Alexis), Josh Cobble, Joe Rollins (Josh), Amanda Rollins, Andy Rollins, Jessica Hasty, Joseph Hasty (Tia), Erica Ellis (Cody), Cody Cobble (Rachel) and Justin Hasty (Ella); his siblings, Mary Davis and Dudley Cobble; and his brother-in-law Bob Shaw. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ken's memory to Smyrna First United Methodist Church's benevolence ministry or to the Smyrna Senior Activity Center Building Fund.
