She was predeceased by: her husband James Eugene Comer; her parents, Joe H. King, Jr. and Evielee Hunter Murphy; and her brother Bobby Murphy of Mt Juliet, TN.. She is survived by: her children, Ralph Comer (David Thomerson) of Brentwood and Brenda Comer Trabant of Smyrna, TN; her grandchildren, Jeremy Reed (Loren White) of Gallatin, TN and Brigitte Rippy; her great grandchild Isaiah Rippy; her great great grandchild Aliyah Rippy of Manchester, TN; and her brothers, Clyde Murphy of Murfreesboro, TN and Joe L. King of Double Springs, AL.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rutherford County Pet Adoption & Welfare Services (PAWS) 285 John R. Rice Boulevard, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Comer will be at Two O'clock the afternoon of Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev John Hilley officiating.
