He is survived by: his son Christopher Atkinson (Rochel Albertson); his granddaughter Kirsten Atkinson (Chandler Hodges); his great grandchildren, Ryker and Wyatt Hodges; and his siblings, Lois Reinhart, Joseph Atkinson and Joan Ortega Cowan.
