He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ike McDowell and Mildred McDowell (Wilkeson); his wife Frances McDowell (Dedmon); his daughters, April Knoblett and Michele Napper (Jeremy); his grandfathers, Morgan Knoblett (Nick), Taylor Knoblett (Oakley) and Madison Napper; his siblings, Harold McDowell (Reba), Wanda Maddux (Harry), Jimmy McDowell and Randy McDowell; and his pets, Peanut and Bo-Jangles. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
