He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gilbert, Myrtle Taylor, Will and Dora Collins; his parents, Obie Collins and Sofie Collins; his siblings, Carson Collins (Mary), Otis Collins (Bonnie), Dennis Collins, Donald Collins, Martha Jane Collins and Fay Collins; and his brothers-in-law, AJ Wilson, R. S. Wilson, Allen Turner and Anthony Trent.
He is survived by: his nephews, Jeffrey and Bedford Alan Wilson; his siblings, Melburn (Sandy) of Florida, Manford (Margaret) of Morristown, Herbert (Tammie) of Sneedville and Wanda (Tim) of Sneedville; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Collins, Sharon Turner, Diane Trent, Doris LeFever (Wayne) and Paul Trent (Debbie); his nephew Tommy Stepp; and also Judy Collins. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duck Creek Baptist Church (1987 Duck Creek Rd, Sneedville, TN 37869). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gibson Cemetery.
