It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eddie D. Hyatt of Sneedville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hyatt and Opal Hyatt; his siblings, Butch, Willie Hyatt, Winston Settles, Wilma Vanderpool, Lucy Jean Krites, Sue Hyatt (Brennan) and Ruth McCaman; and his son Christopher Hyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Stella Hyatt; his son Kevin Hyatt; and his brother Garrett "Rocky" Myers. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McNeil Funeral Home (124 Church St, Sneedville, TN 37869). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Friendlies Chapel Church Cemetery.
