James Albert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. James Albert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew James Albert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Joe Baker and Juanita (Taylor) Simmons; wife: Karen (Miller) Simmons; daughters: Crystal (Simmons) McGolohon (Micheal Manis) and Charlene Ripole; brothers: Curtis Simmons (Connie) and Joe Richard Simmons; sister: Nellie (Simmons) Strickland (Harold); 4 grandchildren, several step-children, step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Creek Campground (3045 Tazewell Hwy, Sneedville, TN 37869).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of New Tazewell, Tn. or American Lung Cancer, in his name.
