He was predeceased by: his wife Ivory Mae Johnson-Boarman; his son Jeffery Wade Boarman; his son-in-law Stephen Nelson Bowles; his granddaughter Julie Mae Goddard; his great grandchild Christopher Michael Goddard; and his siblings, Archie, James, Leonard, Bill, Howard, Harold, Anthony, Bobby Boarman, Evelyn Garner, Madelyn Owens, Frances Prisinger and Dorother Brown.
He is survived by: his children, John L. Boarman Jr., Barbara Jean Boarman, Joyce Bowles, Joan Milstead and Judy Muller; and his caregivers, Dr. Susan Reyes, Michelle Bolling, William Burch, Tracy Kendell-Wilson of Amanda Ledford, NP, Allison Dean and Dorothy Reece. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren.
