With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Roy Sutton of Sneedville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewey Sutton and Tavie Sutton (Winkler); and his brother Troy Sutton. He is survived by : his siblings, Howard Sutton (Barbara), Dayton Sutton (Julia) and Imogene Mabe (James); his sister-in-law Wanda Stanifer; his nieces and nephews, Ricky Sutton (Jennifer), Rita Wright (Eric), Anita Sutton, Karen Holt (Nathan), Susan McGaha, Sherry Greene (Carlton) and Michael Sutton (Samantha); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alyssa, Allyson, Russell, Ashlyn, Lexi, Jacob, Caleb, Tavie, Isabella, Aidan and Matilda.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffey Funeral Home (937 N Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825). The lying in state was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ida's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
