She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Dean McDaniel; her parents, Julia Williams Hopkins and Oscar O. Hopkins; her son Roy Dean McDaniel Jr.; her parents-in-law, Elijah and Mary McDaniel; her siblings, Jay Hopkins (Junior) and Sue; her brother-in-law Clifford Seal; her sister Cherell Walker; and her brothers-in-law, Randy McDaniel, Wayne McDaniel and James McDaniel.

She is survived by: her son Jamey McDaniel (Melinda); her grandson Jamey Lee Phillip McDaniel (Makallia Lynn); her sisters, Dotty (Hugh Kyle Royston) and Gerri (Larry Reece); and her sisters-in-law, Michelle (Wayne), Charlene (James) and Marty McDaniel (Randy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made toward the tomb stone and funeral at the funeral home.
