It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Winegar (Sneedville, Tennessee), born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Earl Sloan; her grandparents, Harry and Carrie Hurd; her children, Heather Davis (Adam) and Matthew Winegar (Chelsey); her grandchildren, Emma, Chloe, Jaxon, Madelyn, Raylan, Davis, Zaylan, Jalen, Jenson, Jameson, Jostlyne and Brantley; her mother Inez Lawson (Bud); her brother Bud Jr. Lawson (Kwana); and her significant other Ronald Clyde Davis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McNeil Funeral Home (124 Church St, Sneedville, TN 37869). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made directly to Heather or Matthew, in honor of Phyllis' generous heart.
