She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Douglas and Edith Douglas; her son Randy Duane Wilkey; and her sisters, Barbara Morgan and Mary Thompson.

She is survived by : her daughter Melanie Wilkey Capps (David) of Soddy Daisy; her sisters, Doris Douglas Dayton (Kenny Clark) and Myra Martin (Bill) of Raleigh, NC; and her grandchildren, Ryan Wilkey (Crystal) and Crystal Thiessen (Ian). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
