Alvin Lewis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin Lewis of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Lewis and Ella Mae Lewis; and his granddaughter Sara Burt. He is survived by: his siblings, Clifford, Carlos Lewis, Cleo Chauncey, Villa Burkhart and Talma Farris; his wife Melba Lewis; his stepchildren, Sandy Lockhart (Glenn), Cindy Roberts (Greg) and Freddy Hawkins (Kelly); his children, Rebecca Burt (Gerald) and Philip Lewis (Mary); his siblings, Wesley Lewis and Beulah Starnes; and his grandchildren, Christy, Jason, Daniel, Patrick and Joshua. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
