She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Sutton and Nettie Sutton; her husbands, Ernest Lynn Potter and James Elliott McRee; her siblings, Viola, Mildred, Jessie, Bessie, Henry, Howard and Roy; and her stepsons, Joe McRee, Michael Potter and Ricky Potter.

She is survived by : her children, Scott Potter, Steve Potter (Beverly), Randall Potter (Tammy), Elliott McRee (Tabitha) and Tammy Goins (Tim); and her stepdaughters, Drucilla Connelly, Joyce Pharr and Pam Lopez. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several sisters, nieces and nephews.
