He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Vandergriff and Johnny Murray; and his stepfather Quince Vandergriff. He is survived by: his wife Angela Mahaffey Murray; his children, Chastity Johnson (Corey) and Chris Murray (Baili); his grandchild Carson Johnson; his siblings, Mark Murray, Sammy Murray (Michelle), Paul Murray, Beth Reed (Raymond) and Marquita Harrison; and his close friends, Henry, Darlene Blakemore, Bobby, Darlene Privett and Mike Miller. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Varner Cemetery.
