The passing of Blanche Comilla DeVries of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee occurred on September 26, 2026. Blanche, born on January 3, 1943 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is remembered by those who knew her. She was predeceased by: her husband R. V. DeVries; and her daughter Teresa Satterfield. She is survived by: her granddaughter Holly Newton (Satterfield); and her great grandchildren, Roman Newton and Rhealynn Newton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5351 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
