He was predeceased by: his wife Elli Hargis; and his parents, Raymond Hargis and Mildred Hargis. He is survived by: his children, Marvin Hargis (Vickie) of Sale Creek, TN, Middie Gandy (Larry) and Susie Roberts (Jerry) of Soddy Daisy, TN.; his grandchildren, Amanda Finlay, Justin Hargis (Stacy), Dustin Gandy (Karen), Josh Roberts (Cristi), Tyler Gandy (Megan), Jared Roberts (Lauren) and Clay Hargis; his great grandchildren, Gracie Gandy, Lila Gandy, Maggie Gandy, Makayla Gandy, Tinley Gandy, Bella Roberts, Claire Roberts, Mason Finlay, Christopher Hargis, Jasmine Hargis and Abby Hargis; and his brother John Hargis (Barbara).
