We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2024, at the age of 86, Charles William Burks (Soddy Daisy, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Rupert Burks and Irene Burks; his brother Rupert Burks, Jr.; his former life partner Lois Burks; and his daughter Jennifer Burks.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy Curvin-Burks; his children, Charles and Paula Burks (Shannon Greenhill); his stepchildren, Wendell Curvin (Tracy), Chris Curvin (Joyce) and Danny Curvin (Holly); and his sister Myrna Burks (Judy).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Soddy-Daisy or Orange Grove Center.
