She was predeceased by: her husband Rick Carpenter; and her parents, Paul Varner and Pauline Varner. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Arnold (Byrd), Tara Sandidge (Greg) and Andrew Carpenter (Mandy); her grandchildren, Megan Smith (Morgan), Keira Carpenter, Reagan Sandidge, Cooper Sandidge, Joshua Carpenter and Drew Carpenter; her great grandchild Ridley Smith; her sister Helen Winford; and her in-laws, Lloyd McAfee, Robbie Carpenter (Wanda), Jerry Carpenter and Sheila Shipley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
