He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Fairchild and Alta Fairchild of Hixson; his wife Carol; his son Ricky; his grandson Graham; and his brothers, Jimmy, Leonerd, Everett and Ralph Fairchild.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Fairchild, Scott Fairchild (Cathy), Eric Fairchild (Kristy) and Kelly Fairchild; his grandchildren, Julia Fairchild, Ricky Fairchild, Brittany Fairchild and Emma Fairchild; his great grandchildren, Layla, Nova, Caroline and Wesley; and his sister Kelly.
