It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene West of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Gene West to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward F. West (Dick) and Grace Ellen Teague West; his sister Evelyn West Ferry; his son-in-law Larry Sneed; and his stepdaughter Patty Cagle.

He is survived by : his children, Mary Ellen Sneed and Charles R. West; his stepchildren, Thatcher Card and Kim Noorbergen; and his grandchildren, Sherri Sneed Millard, Wendy Sneed Dotson (Jimmy), Matthew West, Katherine West, Dustin Card, Trevor Card, Alexis Card, Summer Cagle and Spencer Cagle. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
